Plumber call-out checklist in Singapore
Prepare leak symptoms, access details, call-out scope, parts approval and workmanship questions before booking a plumber.
Check before contacting providers
- ✓Visible symptoms and urgency
- ✓Call-out scope
- ✓Labour and parts approval
- ✓GST and surcharges
- ✓Invoice and workmanship warranty
Describe the symptom before the visit
Share where the leak, blockage or fixture problem appears, when it started and whether water must be shut off. Photos can help the provider distinguish an inspection from a likely repair scope without treating an estimate as a final diagnosis.
Separate call-out, labour and parts
Ask what the call-out covers, how additional labour is charged and whether parts require approval before installation. Confirm GST, transport and after-hours surcharges where applicable.
Record the completed repair
Keep the invoice, replaced-part details and any workmanship warranty. If the underlying cause remains uncertain, ask what follow-up would trigger another charge.
