Put safety and licence scope before price.
EMA says electrical work such as wiring changes, new power points and consumer control unit work should be carried out or supervised by an appropriately Licensed Electrical Worker.
1. Identify the job scope
Replacing a bulb is not the same as modifying wiring. The required worker class depends on the electrical work and installation involved.
2. Verify the worker where required
EMA directs consumers to its ELISE portal to search for or verify Licensed Electrical Workers who offer services to consumers.
3. Compare a complete quote
Confirm inspection, labour, parts, testing, transport and any certification requirement before comparing providers.
XIYA may show provider-declared licence information, but registry verification is a separate evidence step.
